15th May
Did not get any rations till 4.30 P.m and then only half rations, about 5 P.m. F Coy marched off to the spur of an hill about 4 miles away and took up position for the night.

16th May
Off at 5.30 A.m in search of Buralonga Hill which more by luck than anything else, we halted on drew the remainder of yesterdays rations also todays and tomorrows rations.

17 May
Marched to Waschbank about 4 miles off and stopped there one day.

18th May
Marched off about 4.30 Am to Glencoe about 12 miles

rested till the afternoon then went on again to Matings Spruit another 7 miles.

19th May
About 9.30Am next morning moved off again about 2 miles had to come back in the afternoon went back to Glencoe.

21st May
Marched off again about 4½ miles to a place called Wild Duck Valley started work on the railway making two loop-lines two culverts being blown-up.

22nd May
Marched off to Danhauser about 8 miles.

24th May
Rested (Queen Birthday) troops formed up and gave three cheers
