10th June
Marched about 14 miles.

11th June
Marched off about 7 Am in battle formation, came in contact with the enemy after going about 4 miles we fought at Almans Nek.

12th June
Marched about 12 miles.

13th June
Marched to Charlestown passed through Volksrust on the way about 12 miles was was complimented by Gen. Coke on behaviour of the regt. during the war.

14th June
Wakkastroom District surrendered.

16th June
Marched to Volkshurst

28th June
Marched about 16 miles,

5 miles beyond Zand Spruit came in touch with the enemy.

29th June
We went on reconissance towards Amers Fat and saw the boers and the shelled up but done no damage.

30th June
Marched back to Zand Spruit.

1st July
My Coy went to the railway bridges between Volksrust and Zand Spruit and the H.Q. went to Volksrust.

2nd July
My Coy marched to Green near Volksrust.

3rd July
We stopped on Green Hill all day.

4th July
The Regt. marched to
